Quote of the Moment.

I love this quote. I might not be a teenager anymore but reading this definitely still has some meaning to me. On the last day of school everyone promises that you'll still be friends, but your life completely changes. If you go to university, get a job or whatever you decide to do, you aren't going to be spending everyday with the people you've grown up with. You might still talk to some of your school friends but chances are you're going to have a completely new group of friends.
You're going to fail at least one test in your life. That doesn't mean you're going to fail at the rest of your life. Test results aren't the be all and end all of life.
You're going to say things to friends about other friends that you don't mean when they make you mad. Chances are they're probably going to find out. Those indirect tweets, quotes and instagram posts are going to get print screened and sent to people. That's life. They do exactly the same about you behind your back. Stop taking everything to heart and ignore the things that you know aren't true.
Being on your own sucks, but it gives you time to think. Time to think about what you actually want from life. Embrace it, in years to come when you're in a full time job or have children you're going to wish you had some alone time.
Just because someone looks a certain way, or acts a certain way, doesn't make them any different to you and me. Everyone's a human after all. We all want the same things. Don't judge a book by it's cover you might actually surprise yourself when they become your best friend, who knows.
When everything is getting you down and you hold it all in until you feel like you're defeated then you might just need a hug from your parents or grandparents. Getting things off you chest can feel like a huge weight has been lifted from your shoulders and you might be able to actually start enjoying life again.
I personally like looking back at the embarrassing photos I took five years ago, because I like reminiscing the old memories I associate with every photo. It also shows how far you've come.
Just because things aren't going right now, doesn't mean it'll be like this forever. You've got to just get on with it and change the things you don't like about it without loosing who you are. You never know you might start enjoying life if you stop overthinking everything..

xo.
